Plot[]
Homer Pigeon's eyesight is pretty bad, so he goes to a doctor for glasses- only to find out that he has arrived at an induction center for the Pigeonaire Corps instead.

- The first appearance of Homer Pigeon (now redesigned) since 1943. It was also his final cartoon.
- In one scene, Homer's two friends are identified as "Alex" and "Paul". They were probably named after directors Alex Lovy and Paul J. Smith.
- CTC aired a restored master from the 90s of the cartoon on same one aired.
- Especially original titles in CTC Restored.
- This cartoon features a complete redesign of Homer Pigeon. In this short, he is a blue pigeon (instead of grey with a human form).
- This is Homer Pigeon's third and last animated appearance until Spook-A-Nanny (1964).
- MeTV aired an unreleased restored print of the cartoon on Saturday Morning Cartoons.
